Buying Advice:
This motor will vastly improve the roast quality and roast uniformity over the standard rotisserie motor, and will last much longer overall. This is the complete motor upgrade kit. The plates offer an out of the box convenient way to mount to any grill. You should get this if you have previously used the 2 or 6 RPM standard rotisserie motor and need to get the faster, heavy duty motor upgrade. This is the recommended motor for the all RK setups. In other words, if you chose to start with a standard rotisserie motor and now need to replace it or want more consistent roasts, this will be everything you need to mount and setup the motor on your grill. This also includes the electrical switching wiring and components.
Please be sure to select the option for 12Lb Motor above if using a 12Lb drum. This provides a higher torque motor. Roasting with the standard motor on the 12LB setup will cause motor failure within several roasts.
